Salmonella Found in Class Food Carrot Salad; Product Recalled

Class Food is recalling its Moroccan Carrot Salad after the Central District Health Bureau's Food Service found Salmonella bacteria in the product. The manufacturer is Falafel BaRibuah Food Industries Ltd., and the brand is Class Food. The product, sold in 250-gram containers with a best-by date of October 12, 2026, and manufactured on September 7, 2026, is being collected from distribution channels in coordination with the Ministry of Health's Food Service.

Consumers who possess the affected product are urged not to consume it. Class Food has issued an apology for the incident and stated its commitment to product quality and customer satisfaction. Salmonella infection in healthy individuals can manifest as fever, diarrhea (sometimes bloody), nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. While rare, complications can occur.
