Man Sentenced to 22 Years for Murder of Diyar Omri
The Nazareth Central Court on Tuesday sentenced Denis Mukin to 22 years in prison for the fatal shooting of Diyar Omri from Sandala three years ago. In addition to the prison term, Mukin was ordered to pay 285,000 shekels in compensation to Omri's family and had his weapon confiscated. His driver's license was also suspended for three years.
The sentencing hearing was attended by Omri's family, residents of Sandala, and Joint List Chairman Dr. Yousef Jabareen, along with lawyer Omar Khmaisy.
