Body of British Jewish Man Found Near Uman During Rosh Hashanah
The body of a man, believed to be around 45 years old and a British Jewish resident, was discovered in a forest near Uman, Ukraine. The discovery was reported by the emergency medical service "United Hatzalah." The circumstances surrounding his death are currently under investigation.
According to Aharon Ben-Harush, head of the "United Hatzalah" delegation in Uman, the body was found during the Rosh Hashanah holiday period. Representatives from the organization are cooperating with Ukrainian authorities to expedite the process of transferring the body for burial.
"United Hatzalah" is a volunteer-based emergency medical service primarily operating in Israel, with delegations often present in Uman during the Jewish New Year for the large pilgrimage of Hasidic Jews to the city's tomb of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov.
