British Father of Seven Found Dead in Forest Near Uman
A British man, identified as Yitzhak Almakiess, a father of seven, was found dead in a forest near the grave of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov in Uman, Ukraine. Almakiess, who had been staying in the city, was discovered during the holiday period. United Hatzalah, a volunteer emergency medical service, reported that a man in his mid-40s was found lifeless in the forest. The circumstances surrounding his death are currently under investigation by authorities. Aharon Ben Harush, head of the United Hatzalah delegation in Uman, stated that the organization is working with local officials to expedite the release of the body for prompt burial. The exact cause of death has not yet been released, but initial reports suggest a suspicion of murder.
