Contaminated Snack Recall Issued After Consumer Complaints of Undeclared Ingredients
The Israeli importer of 7Days brand Bake Rolls, Diplomat, has announced a recall of two specific products due to the presence of undeclared "bean flour" (khametz pol). The issue came to light following consumer complaints.
The recall affects Bake Rolls Salt (barcode 5201360639007) with expiration dates of November 4, 2026, January 14, 2027, January 15, 2027, and April 28, 2027. Also included is Bake Rolls Garlic (barcode 7622202049927) with expiration dates of October 5, 2026, January 15, 2027, October 15, 2027, and April 29, 2027. Both products are manufactured by Mondelez in Romania and sold in 80-gram packages.
Diplomat is coordinating the product removal from shelves with the Ministry of Health's Food Service. The company advises consumers with bean allergies to avoid consuming these products, while stating that the general population can eat them without concern.
