Health Ministry Recalls Popular Snack Over Undeclared Allergen
Israel's Ministry of Health has announced a recall of two popular 7Days Bake Rolls products due to the presence of undeclared lupin flour. The affected products are the salt flavor and garlic flavor varieties, both in 80-gram packaging. Lupin is a legume that can cause severe allergic reactions in sensitive individuals, and its presence was not listed on the ingredient labels.
The recall specifically targets products with the following expiration dates: for the salt flavor, November 4, 2026, January 14, 2027, January 15, 2027, and April 28, 2027; and for the garlic flavor, January 15, 2027, October 5, 2026, April 29, 2027, and October 15, 2027. Consumers who are allergic to lupin are strongly advised not to consume these specific batches.
The manufacturer, Diplomat, is initiating the product recall. The Ministry of Health is overseeing the recall process to ensure consumer safety.
