Popular Snack Products Recalled in Israel Due to Undeclared Allergen
Diplomat Distributors Ltd. has initiated a recall of two popular 7Days snack products in Israel following consumer complaints. The recall is due to the presence of fava bean flour, an ingredient not listed on the product labels. The affected items are 7Days Bake Rolls Salt (80g, barcode 5201360639007) and 7Days Bake Rolls Garlic (80g, barcode 7622202049927).
Specific "best before" dates are included for the recall. For the salt-flavored rolls, these dates are November 4, 2026, January 14, 2027, January 15, 2027, and April 28, 2027. For the garlic-flavored rolls, the affected dates are January 15, 2027, October 5, 2026, April 29, 2027, and October 15, 2027.
Consumers with fava bean sensitivities are strongly advised not to consume these products. However, the company stated that other consumers can eat the products without concern. The manufacturer is Mondelez Romania Snacks Production SRL, located in Clinceni, Romania, with Diplomat Distributors (1968) Ltd. serving as the importer.
In coordination with the Ministry of Health's Food Service, Diplomat is removing the products from distribution channels. Consumers who possess the affected products and have fava bean sensitivities should not consume them. Further information is available through Diplomat's customer service.
