Health Ministry Recalls Popular Crackers Due to Undeclared Ingredient

Israel's Ministry of Health has announced a recall of specific packages of 7Days Baker Rolls crackers, imported by Diplomat and manufactured by Mondelez Romania Snacks Production SRL. The recall affects two flavors: Salt and Garlic, in 80-gram packages. The reason for the recall is the presence of fava bean flour, an ingredient not listed on the product's packaging. This is particularly concerning for consumers with fava bean allergies.

The affected products include the Salt flavor with barcodes 5201360639007 and expiration dates November 4, 2026, January 14, 2027, January 15, 2027, and April 28, 2027. The Garlic flavor, with barcode 7622202049927, is recalled for expiration dates January 15, 2027, October 5, 2026, April 29, 2027, and October 15, 2027.

Diplomat emphasized that consumers without fava bean sensitivities can consume the products without concern. The company has begun collecting the recalled products from store shelves in coordination with the Ministry of Health's food service. Consumers who have purchased the affected packages are advised to check the flavor, barcode, and expiration date against the details provided in the recall notice.
