Major Recall Issued for Popular Snack Products Due to Undeclared Allergen
Diplomat Distributors Ltd. has initiated an immediate recall of two popular 7Days snack products: Bake Rolls Salt 80g (barcode 5201360639007) and Bake Rolls Garlic Flavor 80g (barcode 7622202049927). The recall was prompted by consumer complaints, which led to the discovery of undeclared fava bean flour in the products' ingredient lists. Fava beans are a common allergen, and their presence without proper labeling poses a risk to consumers with sensitivities.
The affected products, manufactured by Mondelez Romania Snacks Production S.R.L. in Clinčeni, Romania, and imported by Diplomat Distributors (1968) Ltd., have various expiration dates. For the Bake Rolls Salt variety, these include November 4, 2026, January 14, 2027, January 15, 2027, and April 28, 2027. For the Bake Rolls Garlic flavor, affected dates are January 15, 2027, October 5, 2026, April 29, 2027, and October 15, 2027.
Consumers are strongly advised not to consume these products, especially those with fava bean allergies. The company assures that consumers without such sensitivities can consume the product without concern. In coordination with the Ministry of Health's Food Service, Diplomat is removing the products from sales channels. Customers seeking refunds or further information can contact Diplomat's customer service at 1-800-250-221 or via email at communication@diplomat-global.com.
