Israeli Parents' Group Decries Poor PISA Test Results
Israel's National Parents' Association has reacted strongly to the latest PISA test results released by the OECD, stating that the findings should be a wake-up call for decision-makers. The organization highlighted that nearly one in three Israeli students failed to reach a basic proficiency level in reading, mathematics, and science.
Eli Horovitz, CEO of the Trump Foundation for Education, also commented on the data, calling the statistic that only about 4.8% of students excel in mathematics a "warning light" for Israel's scientific and technological future. He emphasized the need for immediate attention to these concerning trends.
