The IDF said it struck central Gaza yesterday and killed Ahmad Abu Hinn, who it identified as the head of a sniper cell in Hamas’s military wing, and Mahmoud Walid Gabr Abu Hinn, also described as a Hamas military wing operative. The announcement came from the military spokesman.
According to the IDF, both men took part in the October 7 assault inside Israel during what it called the “bloody massacre” of that day. The army said that in recent weeks they had been working to rebuild Hamas, in violation of the ceasefire agreement, and to advance terror plots against IDF forces and the State of Israel.
The military said the two posed an immediate threat to troops operating in Gaza and were killed in precise strikes.
