IDF Kills Two Senior Hamas Operatives in Gaza Strip Operations
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) eliminated two key Hamas militants in separate operations in the northern and southern Gaza Strip. On Saturday, the IDF targeted and killed Ahmad Yahya Ibrahim Batsh, the commander of a Hamas Nukhba unit cell in northern Gaza. According to the IDF, Batsh was involved in planning terrorist attacks against Israeli forces throughout the recent conflict and in the period leading up to it.
In a subsequent operation on Monday in southern Gaza, the IDF killed Hamuda Abu Daka, who served as the commander of Hamas's military intelligence unit. These targeted strikes reflect ongoing Israeli efforts to dismantle Hamas's military and intelligence capabilities within the Gaza Strip.
