Israeli Forces Eliminate Hamas Intelligence Chief and Nukhba Commander in Gaza

Israeli military forces killed two senior Hamas operatives in separate strikes in the Gaza Strip. In the northern Gaza Strip, Ahmad Yahiya Ibrahim Batsh, commander of a Nukhba unit within Hamas, was targeted and killed. In the southern Gaza Strip, Hamuda Abu Daka, a commander in Hamas's military intelligence unit, was also eliminated.

Both individuals were actively involved in planning and executing terrorist attacks against Israeli soldiers operating in Gaza. Batsh had been promoting terror activities throughout the conflict and continued to do so recently. Abu Daka was responsible for gathering intelligence on Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) troops to facilitate attacks, posing an immediate threat to soldiers in the area.

The IDF Southern Command stated that its forces remain deployed in the region according to existing agreements and will continue operations to neutralize any immediate threats. The strikes are part of ongoing efforts to dismantle Hamas's operational capabilities in Gaza.
