Israeli Forces Eliminate Hamas Weapons Chief and Nukhba Terrorist in Northern Gaza
Israeli military forces killed two key Hamas operatives last week in northern Gaza. One of those killed was Fares Al-Masri, who served as the head of a production unit within Hamas's weapons manufacturing division. The second was Mohammad Abu Shakian, a terrorist affiliated with Hamas's elite Nukhba unit.
Al-Masri was involved in producing weapons as part of Hamas's efforts to rebuild its military capabilities, violating the ceasefire agreement. Both operatives were actively engaged in planning and advancing terrorist attacks against Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) personnel and Israeli civilians.
The IDF's Southern Command units remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire terms and continue to operate to neutralize threats. This operation underscores ongoing Israeli efforts to prevent Hamas from rearming and carrying out attacks against Israel.
