Israel says it killed two Hamas militants who entered on October 7
The IDF said it carried out an airstrike yesterday in central Gaza and killed Ahmed Abu Hein, described as the head of a sniper cell in Hamas’s military wing, and Mahmoud Walid Gabr Abu Hein, a Hamas military operative.
According to the military, both men took part in the October 7 attack inside Israel. In recent weeks, the IDF said, they had been working to rebuild Hamas in violation of the ceasefire agreement and to advance terror plots against Israeli forces and the State of Israel.
The army said the two posed an immediate threat to its troops operating in the Gaza Strip and were eliminated in precise strikes.
