SAS Scandinavian Airlines Resumes Flights to Tel Aviv

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is set to re-enter the Israeli market, resuming direct flights between Tel Aviv and Copenhagen starting October 26. The airline will operate four weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturday evenings. SAS will utilize new Airbus A320neo aircraft on this route, offering both economy and business class seating. This marks a more robust return for SAS, which previously ceased flights to Israel in March 2016 and had a brief, unsuccessful attempt to re-enter the market in October 2025. The previous service operated three times weekly between Tel Aviv and Copenhagen. The increased frequency is expected to provide more direct travel options for Israelis traveling to Denmark and other Nordic countries, with Copenhagen also serving as a potential transit hub for onward travel. Ticket prices are reported to be around 400 euros one-way, including a small under-seat backpack, with additional fees for carry-on luggage and checked baggage. Notably, the aircraft on this route will feature Starlink high-speed internet service.
