Scandinavian Airlines Resumes Tel Aviv-Copenhagen Flights This Fall

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), a major European carrier, has officially announced the resumption of direct flights between Tel Aviv and Copenhagen. The service will recommence on October 26th, operating four times weekly as part of the airline's winter schedule. Flights are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with Saturday departures planned after the conclusion of Shabbat. This increased frequency surpasses that of the previous year when SAS initially re-entered the route. The airline will utilize its modern Airbus A320neo fleet for these flights, offering both economy and business class seating. A key feature for passengers will be the implementation of high-speed satellite internet, including Starlink, on these aircraft, promising reliable connectivity throughout the journey. This development signifies a continued recovery in Israel's passenger air travel market, with major global carriers gradually returning. Previously, SAS crews had reportedly refused to fly to Tel Aviv.
