Fuel Prices to Drop by Half a Shekel Before Elections
The price of gasoline in Israel is set to decrease by 50 agorot (half a shekel) starting from midnight tonight, a move that will take effect just before the upcoming general elections. This reduction will bring the price of 95-octane gasoline down to NIS 6.45 per liter at the pump.
The Ministry of Energy announced the decision, attributing it to a decrease in global oil prices. This is the second price reduction in a month, following a drop of 19 agorot in early October.
