Train Service Disrupted Between Tel Aviv and Netanya Due to Power Line Damage

Train traffic between Tel Aviv Savidor Central and Netanya stations was temporarily halted on Sunday morning, September 6, following damage to the railway's overhead power line. The incident occurred overnight during infrastructure work by the Electric Company near the Shfaim area, where a cable reportedly damaged the contact network. "Israel Railways" stated that repair crews are working on-site and estimated the repairs would take several hours. As of early morning, full restoration of service had not yet been reported. "Israel Railways" has arranged for shuttle buses to transport passengers between the affected stations: Tel Aviv Savidor Central, Herzliya, Beit Yehoshua, and Netanya. The company advises passengers traveling on this route to consider alternative transportation if possible.
