Israel's Average July Salary Drops 4.3% After June Surge
The average salary in Israel experienced a seasonal decline of 4.3% in July compared to June, settling at 14,561 shekels. Data for the high-tech sector in June shows a 2.3% salary increase, bringing the average to 36,584 shekels per month. This growth in high-tech was less pronounced than the overall market increase. The June average is still notably below the historical peak of 38,467 shekels recorded in March, which was followed by a 9.4% decrease in the average salary. The number of employees in the high-tech sector remained largely unchanged.
