Israel's Average Monthly Salary Reaches 15,218 Shekels
The average monthly salary for salaried employees in Israel rose to 15,218 shekels in June 2026, according to data released by the Central Bureau of Statistics. This represents a 7.7% increase compared to June 2025, when the average salary was 14,132 shekels.
Adjusted for inflation, the real average salary saw a 5.9% increase over the year, reaching 12,114 shekels in 2011 prices. The number of employed positions for salaried workers also grew, reaching 4.219 million. This figure is up 1.2% from May 2026 and 2.1% higher than in June 2025.
