Netanyahu Claims Control of 60% of Gaza, Vows No Retreat
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited an area near the "yellow line" in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, asserting that Israel controls 60% of the territory and has no intention of withdrawing.
"We control the area. We are not retreating. We are staying on this line," Netanyahu stated. He added, "We control 60% of the Strip, and there is more to come as we eliminate the terrorists who threaten us."
Netanyahu also claimed that the head of Hamas's security apparatus was eliminated the previous day, remarking, "We will certainly learn some things."
