Ansa set to sign with Beitar Jerusalem as club finalizes deal
Beitar Jerusalem completed the remaining details of Eugene Ansa’s transfer on Sunday, with the club aiming for him to sign officially today and join training tomorrow. The move would make him available for the start of the team’s preseason preparations.
Ansa is expected to sign a two-year contract with an option for a third season. His salary is set at about 250,000 euros.
Over the past 48 hours, another Israeli club tried to lure him away, but Ansa chose to honor his agreement with Beitar Jerusalem. The club has now closed the deal after resolving all outstanding issues.
The timing matters because the Conference League qualifying draw is scheduled for Wednesday. Beitar will enter in the second qualifying round, where it will be unseeded and could draw a strong opponent right away.
