Israel Experiences Rising Temperatures with Extreme Heat in Eilat Reaching 40°C

On Wednesday, most parts of Israel will enjoy pleasant weather as morning clouds gradually clear. The Meteorological Service forecasts a slight temperature increase, especially in the mountainous and inland regions. Inland areas will experience hot conditions during the day, with temperatures reaching the mid to high 30s Celsius in some locations.

Eilat will face intense heat, with maximum temperatures around 40 degrees Celsius. Along the Mediterranean coast, temperatures will be milder, but humidity will heighten the sensation of heat. The Mediterranean Sea is expected to be choppy, with wave heights ranging from 80 to 140 centimeters on the central coast and 70 to 120 centimeters on the northern and southern coasts.

Specific temperature forecasts include Jerusalem at 20-31°C, Tel Aviv-Yafo and Haifa both at 26-31°C, Kiryat Shmona and Beersheba at 23-36°C, Safed at 19-30°C, Tiberias at 27-36°C, Ashdod at 25-30°C, Mitzpe Ramon at 19-31°C, and Eilat at 28-40°C.
