16-Year-Old Yonatan Klimian Dies in Keshat Cave Rappelling Accident
Yonatan Klimian, a 16-year-old student from Katzrin and a yeshiva high school pupil in Hispin, tragically died on Sunday afternoon after falling from a height during rappelling in Keshat Cave near Adamit. Rescue teams estimated that Klimian fell from a height of 30 to 40 meters. Unit 669 was dispatched to assist in the rescue operation.
Magen David Adom paramedics Mimon Gabay and Ligel Dror reported that upon arrival, they found Klimian unconscious, without pulse or breathing, and with severe injuries. Despite advanced medical treatment and resuscitation efforts, they were forced to declare his death at the scene.
The Hispin yeshiva expressed shock and sorrow over the loss of their beloved student, Yonatan Klimian, extending condolences and prayers for his soul.
