Five-Year-Old Boy Dies After Being Left in Car in Lod Chabad Community

A tragic incident has struck the Chabad community in Lod with the untimely death of five-year-old Bezalel David Giller. The young boy, son of prominent Chabad scholar Rabbi Menashe Giller and Mrs. Chaya Mushka Sultana, was found unconscious in the family car after being accidentally left inside. The family had returned home from a trip, and the child fell asleep in his car seat. Upon arrival, the family exited the vehicle without noticing he remained inside asleep.

Approximately two hours later, Rabbi Giller realized his son was missing from the house and discovered him unconscious in the parked car suffering from severe heatstroke symptoms. Emergency medical teams arrived promptly and performed prolonged resuscitation efforts, but tragically, the boy was declared dead at the scene.

The devastating news has deeply shocked the local Chabad community and the family’s friends, who are struggling to come to terms with the sudden loss. The funeral is scheduled for Sunday at 6:00 PM at the Lod municipal cemetery, where Bezalel David will be buried in the children's section. The community mourns the loss of a pure and beloved child.
