5-Year-Old Found in Critical Condition After Being Left in Car in Lod
A 5-year-old boy was found in critical condition inside a car in Lod on Sunday afternoon, showing signs of heatstroke. The emergency call was received by Magen David Adom (MDA) at 12:58 PM. Paramedics and medics arrived at the scene and immediately began advanced resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions and ventilation. The child was unconscious, without pulse or breathing when first attended to. He was rushed to Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh) while receiving ongoing life-saving treatment. Senior MDA medic Haim Shavit and medic Yosef Yitzhak Sagiv reported they were fighting for the boy’s life upon arrival. The boy’s condition remains critical as he undergoes treatment at the hospital.
