Five-Year-Old Found Unconscious in Car in Lod, Condition Critical

A five-year-old boy was found unconscious inside a vehicle in Lod on Sunday, showing no pulse or breathing and exhibiting signs of heatstroke. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) performed advanced resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions and ventilation, before rushing him to Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh) in critical condition. Senior paramedics Haim Shavit and Yosef Yitzhak Sagiv reported that upon arrival, the child was unresponsive and suffering from heatstroke symptoms. They emphasized that they are fighting for his life.

Paramedics from United Hatzalah, including Nataniel Eitan, Aryeh Mendelzon, and Itzik Mishkovsky, stated that the child had reportedly been left inside the car for an extended period. They provided initial medical assistance at the scene before transferring him to the hospital. The boy's condition remains critical as medical teams continue efforts to save him.
