Five-Year-Old Found Unconscious in Car in Lod in Critical Condition
A five-year-old boy was found unconscious and without pulse or breathing inside a car in Lod on Sunday, showing signs of heatstroke. Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) arrived at the scene and immediately began advanced resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions and artificial respiration. The child was rushed to Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh) in critical condition. Senior paramedics Haim Shavit and Yosef Yitzhak Sagiv reported that they are fighting for the boy's life after receiving the emergency call and finding him unresponsive in the vehicle. The incident highlights the dangers of heat exposure, especially to young children left in vehicles during hot weather.
