Israel Faces Rising Temperatures and Intensifying Heatwaves This Week

Israel is experiencing a rise in temperatures starting Sunday, with partly cloudy skies in the morning turning clear later in the day. The temperature increase will be most noticeable in the mountainous regions and inland areas, reaching levels slightly above the seasonal average. Concurrently, heat stress is expected to intensify across the country.

On Monday, temperatures will climb further, bringing hot and dry conditions to the mountains and inland regions, while the coastal plain will remain mild. Most areas will endure heavy to extreme heat burdens. Tuesday's weather is expected to remain largely unchanged, maintaining the intense heat.

By Wednesday, a slight drop in temperatures is forecast, primarily in the mountains and inland, though conditions will still be warmer than usual. Despite this decrease, heavy to extreme heat stress will persist in most parts of Israel.
