Suspects in Eldar Dayan Murder Case Begin Speaking to Police

Two suspects in the murder of Eldar Dayan, whose remains were found near the Yarkon Junction, have started cooperating with investigators after initially remaining silent. The suspects, both friends of Dayan, were arrested following his disappearance, and their detention was extended by seven days. The investigation is being conducted by the Sharon District Central Unit, with each suspect questioned separately.

Police are examining two motorcycle helmets found near the scene and the vehicle the three were traveling in, which was discovered abandoned near a gas station with its license plates removed. Authorities believe the suspects' testimonies will clarify the events leading up to Dayan's death. A police source told Maariv, "In the coming days, we will know exactly what happened in Eldar Dayan's final moments."
