Investigators Unable to Determine Cause of Eldar Dayan's Death in Ongoing Murder Probe

Investigators handling the murder case of Eldar Dayan have reported that forensic evidence is insufficient to establish the exact cause of his death. According to a report by Kan News on Thursday evening, authorities believe Dayan may have been injured during a confrontation and died while attempting to flee. Bloodstains found in Dayan's vehicle did not match his blood or that of the suspects involved, further complicating the investigation. Officials stated that it will not be possible to conclusively prove whether Dayan died from stabbing, shooting, or other causes.

Dayan's body was identified last Thursday after an extensive three-week search. On the same day, Kan News revealed that police had testimony from a witness who saw Dayan and his friends Omri Peretz and Maxim Braverman entering the field where the body was found and running. During questioning, Peretz denied running in the field, which led investigators to believe he was lying. Following this interrogation, Peretz ceased communication with the investigators.

The investigation continues amid these challenges, with no definitive forensic findings to support the murder case. The case has drawn public attention, including emotional responses from Dayan's family and friends, as the search for truth persists.
