Sara Netanyahu Files Counter-Lawsuit Against Former Residence Employee Accusing Him of Theft and Defamation

The legal dispute between Sara Netanyahu, wife of the Israeli Prime Minister, and her former residence employee, Yechiel Oheb Ami, has escalated to a court battle with claims from both sides. Last week, Oheb Ami filed a lawsuit accusing Sara Netanyahu of severe workplace harassment during his employment at the Prime Minister's residence. In response, Sara Netanyahu submitted a counter-lawsuit on Thursday through her attorney Uriel Hor Nazari, alleging that Oheb Ami engaged in planned illegal activities from the start of his employment, including secretly photographing inside the residence and violating confidentiality agreements.

The counter-complaint accuses Oheb Ami of intrusive violations of privacy, unauthorized covert recordings within a secured government facility, theft of information, and using this material for blackmail and defamation. It further claims that after his dismissal and rejection of his request to return to work, Oheb Ami embarked on a calculated revenge campaign, collaborating improperly with a Channel 12 journalist. The lawsuit describes all of Oheb Ami's allegations as "complete and malicious lies," labeling his statements as fabrications with no basis in reality.

Oheb Ami's original lawsuit maintains that he performed his duties diligently and professionally despite enduring severe harassment by Sara Netanyahu, supported by her management team, ultimately leading to his dismissal on false grounds without just cause. The case highlights a bitter conflict involving accusations of workplace abuse, privacy violations, and attempts at media manipulation. The court proceedings will determine the validity of these competing claims.
