Court Reverses Ruling Against Former Aide in Lawsuit Filed by Sara Netanyahu

A Jerusalem Magistrate's Court has reversed a previous ruling that ordered former residence employee Silvi Gnesia to pay Prime Minister's wife Sara Netanyahu NIS 100,000 in damages. The dramatic decision came after Gnesia, now represented by attorney Shaul Ida, presented serious allegations against her former lawyer, Ofir Samson. According to these claims, Samson committed severe representation failures, missed court deadlines, and neglected to submit critical legal documents, which led to the initial judgment against her.

Channel 13 legal correspondent Aviad Glickman, who first reported the decision, expressed approval of the court's move, calling it "very good." The reversal means the legal case between Netanyahu and Gnesia will now resume, with proceedings returning to the discussion table.

This is not the only recent legal challenge involving Sara Netanyahu. On September 10, Yair Golan, chairman of the Democrats party, filed an unprecedented NIS 2,550,000 defamation and damages lawsuit against her. The suit, filed with the Central District Court in Lod, followed Netanyahu's refusal to apologize or retract remarks made in a Channel 14 interview. In that interview, she implied Golan had prior knowledge of the October 7th Hamas attack.
