Sara Netanyahu Sues Former Aide for Secretly Filming in Prime Minister's Residence

Sara Netanyahu, wife of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has filed a lawsuit against Yechiel Ohev Ami, a former operations assistant at the Prime Minister's residence. This legal action comes just a week after Ohev Ami himself sued Sara Netanyahu, accusing her of workplace harassment. According to Sara Netanyahu's attorney, Uriel Hor Nazari, Ohev Ami began secretly filming inside the Prime Minister's residence early in his employment, violating confidentiality agreements and Israeli law. The lawsuit alleges that he intruded into her private living space, conducted covert and illegal recordings within a secured government facility, stole information, and used it for blackmail and defamation purposes. After being dismissed and denied reinstatement, Ohev Ami allegedly embarked on a calculated campaign of revenge, including collusion with a journalist from Channel 12 news. Sara Netanyahu's legal team categorically denies all accusations made by Ohev Ami, describing them as malicious lies and conspiracies without any factual basis. They characterize his conduct as criminal, aimed at extorting media and financial gain. Conversely, Ohev Ami's lawsuit claims he performed his duties diligently despite severe harassment by Sara Netanyahu, supported and ignored by her management, culminating in his wrongful dismissal without just cause.
