Partial Nighttime Closures on Ayalon Highway and Route 2 for Bridge Sign Installation
Partial closures will affect the Ayalon Highway and Route 2 during upcoming nights due to bridge sign installation work. On the night between Monday and Tuesday, from midnight to 5 a.m., northbound Ayalon will be closed between Rokach Interchange and KKL Interchange. Traffic will be diverted to exit at Rokach Interchange, while entry to northbound Ayalon from KKL Interchange will remain open.
On the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, during the same hours, southbound Route 2 will close between Poleg Interchange and Wingate Interchange. Entry from Poleg to southbound Route 2 will be blocked, with traffic redirected to Route 553 and then Route 4. Entry from Poleg to northbound Route 2 and entry to southbound Route 2 from Wingate Interchange will remain open.
On the night between Wednesday and Thursday, also from midnight to 5 a.m., southbound Route 2 will close between Netanya Interchange and Gesher HaShalom Interchange in the city. Entry from Gesher HaShalom to southbound Route 2 will be allowed, but entry from Netanya Interchange will be blocked. Traffic will be diverted through Herzl Street and Ben Zvi Boulevard to Gesher HaShalom Interchange.
