IDF Destroys Hezbollah Terror Tunnels in South Lebanon Using 700 Tons of Explosives
Under the directive of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Katz, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) demolished terror tunnels in the Bofor area of southern Lebanon using approximately 700 tons of explosives. These tunnels were part of Hezbollah's planned invasion strategy targeting communities in the Galilee region. The operation was launched following Hezbollah's violation of the ceasefire agreement the previous day. In a joint statement, Israeli officials emphasized that Israel will not tolerate breaches of the ceasefire and affirmed that the IDF will maintain its presence in the security zone while continuing to dismantle terror infrastructure.
