Likud Leads as Opposition Shifts; Naftali Bennett Drops to Seven Seats in New Poll

A new poll by Channel 14 released on Sunday shows a stable political landscape in Israel, with the right-wing bloc maintaining a solid majority of 62 Knesset seats. The Likud party, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, remains the largest party with 32 seats. The left-center bloc holds 48 seats, while Arab parties collectively secure 10 seats.

Significant shifts are noted within the opposition camp. The "Yashar" party, headed by Gadi Eisenkot, emerges as the second-largest opposition party with 23 seats. Meanwhile, Naftali Bennett's "Together" party falls to just seven seats. Other parties include the Democrats with 12 seats, Shas with 10, Otzma Yehudit with eight, United Torah Judaism with seven, Yisrael Beiteinu with six, and Religious Zionism, Ra'am, and the Joint List each with five seats.

Regarding the preferred prime minister, Netanyahu leads dramatically with 52% public support. His main rival, Gadi Eisenkot, receives 37%, while Bennett garners only 6%. Avigdor Lieberman has 4%, and Benny Gantz trails with just 1%. Several parties remain below the electoral threshold, including the Hendel-Troper list at 2.1%, Balad at 1.9%, Feiglin's Zehut at 1.3%, and Blue and White at 0.9%.
