New Poll Shows Netanyahu's Likud Leading, Bennett's Party Collapsing

A new poll released by Channel 14 on Monday reveals a concerning political landscape for several Israeli parties as the deadline for list submissions approaches. The Likud party, led by former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, remains the largest party in the Knesset with 30 seats, though it dropped one seat from the previous poll.

"Yashar!", the party of former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot, is positioned as the second-largest party with 20 seats, maintaining its standing but seeing its bloc lose a mandate. In stark contrast, former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's party, "Beiteinu", is experiencing a dramatic decline, plummeting to just 6 seats in the current survey.

The "Change bloc" continues its downward trend in the polls. Meanwhile, "Shas" holds 10 seats, and "HaDemocratim" has gained two seats to also reach 10 mandates. "Otzma Yehudit" and "Religious Zionism-Identity" both maintain their strength with 8 seats each, while the "Joint List" also secures 8 seats.

"United Torah Judaism" loses ground, falling to 7 seats. "Yisrael Beiteinu" stands at 6 seats, and "Ra'am" receives 5 seats. According to the poll, Netanyahu's bloc garnishes 63 mandates, the opposition bloc receives 44, and Arab parties collectively gain 13 seats.

Notably, candidates such as Winter, Handel, and Zelicha, along with Benny Gantz, are polling below the electoral threshold, though "Amcha Israel" is close to surpassing it.
