New Poll Shows Gadi Eisenkot's Party Leading, Likud Weakening

A new Israeli election poll released this week by Kan News indicates significant shifts in the political landscape, with new parties gaining ground and the two largest bloc parties experiencing a decline. Gadi Eisenkot's "Yash!" party is currently leading with 23 Knesset seats, a slight increase attributed partly to the joining of Chili Tropper. Conversely, the Likud party has weakened to 20 seats for the first time in recent polls.

Naftali Bennett's "Bayit Yehudi" party has dropped to 13 seats. Notably, Ofer Winter's new party, "Amcha Yisrael," has crossed the electoral threshold for the second consecutive time, securing 4 seats. The union of Yoaz Hendel and Yaron Zehlikha also passed the threshold with 4 seats. However, their party's unclear bloc affiliation could position them as potential kingmakers in coalition formation.

Other parties' seat allocations include: The Democrats with 8 seats, United Torah Judaism with 8, Otzma Yehudit, Yisrael Beiteinu, and Shas each with 7 seats. The Hadash-Ta'al and Balad alliance also received 7 seats, while Ra'am secured 6. Religious Zionism combined with Moshe Feiglin's Zehut garnered 5 seats. The "Miluimnikim" party, representing reservists, also received 4 seats. Notably, Blue and White failed to pass the electoral threshold in this poll.
