New Poll Shows Netanyahu's Likud and Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar Tied, Bennett and Golan Decline

A new KAN News poll released on Sunday reveals a tense political landscape in Israel with no clear bloc majority and continued decline for Naftali Bennett's party. According to the poll, Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud and Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party are tied at 23 seats each. Bennett's party, Yachdav, dropped further to a low of 13 seats. Meanwhile, the Democrats, led by Yair Golan, lost two seats compared to last week, now holding eight.

Other parties in the poll include Yisrael Beiteinu and Otzma Yehudit with nine seats each, Shas, United Torah Judaism, and the Democrats with eight seats each, Hadash-Ta'al with six, Ra'am with five, Religious Zionism with four, and the Trooper-Hendel party also with four. Blue and White, led by Benny Gantz and Dedi Simchi, and Balad remain below the electoral threshold.

The poll also examined scenarios involving new or split parties. Neither the party led by Gilad Erdan and Yuli Edelstein nor the one led by retired Brigadier General Ofer Winter crosses the threshold. Additionally, the potential joining of retired Commissioner Yoav Segalovich to Ra'am does not affect its steady five-seat standing under Mansour Abbas.

Overall, the poll indicates no dramatic changes in bloc alignments, with no camp able to secure a stable majority without complex coalition compromises.
