New Poll Shows Likud and Gadi Eizenkot's Party Tied, Bennett Hits New Low

A new poll by Channel 13 released on Tuesday evening reveals a tie between the Likud party and Gadi Eizenkot's "Yisra" party, each securing 21 mandates if elections were held today. Likud lost one mandate compared to previous polls, while the coalition bloc gained one mandate but remains unable to form a government with only 49 mandates.

Naftali Bennett's "Yahad" party dropped to a new low of 14 mandates. The newly formed Democrats party, which held primaries just yesterday to select its Knesset list, ranks as the fourth largest party with 11 mandates. Other parties include Yisrael Beiteinu with 10 mandates, Shas and United Torah Judaism each with 8, Otzma Yehudit with 7, Hadash-Ta'al with 6, Religious Zionism and Ra'am each with 5 mandates. The new party led by Hili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel passed the electoral threshold with 4 mandates.

In terms of bloc distribution, the coalition holds 49 mandates, the opposition 60, and Arab parties 11. This means neither side can form a government without the support of the Arab parties. The poll also triggered internal turmoil within Bennett's Yahad party, with calls to reconsider the partnership.

The poll underscores the ongoing political deadlock in Israel, with no clear path to government formation ahead of potential elections.
