Netanyahu and Eizenkot Tie at 23 Seats Each in Latest Israeli Poll

A new poll published by Kan News on Sunday shows a tie between Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party and Gadi Eizenkot's Yashar party, each securing 23 seats in the Knesset. Likud gained one seat and Yashar two compared to last week's poll. Meanwhile, Naftali Bennett's Yachdut party dropped one seat to 13, and the Democrats lost two seats, falling to eight. Hadash-Ta'al gained one seat, rising to six.

Other parties maintained their standing: Otzma Yehudit and Yisrael Beiteinu each held nine seats, while Shas and United Torah Judaism remained steady at eight seats each. Religious Zionism lost one seat, dropping to four. The new party formed by Yoaz Hendel and Hili Tropper crossed the electoral threshold with four seats.

Regarding political blocs, Netanyahu's bloc holds 52 seats, Eizenkot's bloc leads with 57, and Arab parties collectively have 11 seats. In a scenario with two new right-wing parties led by Gilad Erdan and Yuli Edelstein, and by Ofer Winter, neither passes the threshold; however, the Democrats gain one seat at the expense of Otzma Yehudit.

If MK Yoav Segalovich joins Mansour Abbas's Ra'am party, Ra'am would have five seats, with no change in bloc distribution. On suitability for prime minister, Netanyahu leads Bennett with 40% to 31%, and narrowly surpasses Eizenkot 40% to 36%. Between Bennett and Eizenkot, the latter leads 37% to 15%.

When asked about an agreement with Hamas in Gaza, 45% oppose it, 27% support it, and 27% are undecided.
