Likud Leads as Netanyahu Dominates Prime Minister Race; Bennett’s Party Nears Electoral Threshold

A new poll by News 14, conducted on July 26, 2026, reveals a stable political landscape in Israel with the right-wing bloc maintaining a solid majority of 62 Knesset seats. Likud, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, remains the largest party with 32 seats. The center-left bloc holds 48 seats, while Arab parties collectively secure 10 seats.

Significant shifts are seen within the opposition camp. The "Yashar" party, headed by Gadi Eizenkot, emerges as the second-largest opposition party with 23 seats. In contrast, Naftali Bennett’s "Together" party declines sharply to just 7 seats, nearing the electoral threshold. Other parties include the Democrats with 12 seats, Shas with 10, Otzma Yehudit with 8, United Torah Judaism with 7, Yisrael Beiteinu with 6, and Religious Zionism, Ra'am, and the Joint List each with 5 seats.

Regarding suitability for prime minister, Netanyahu leads decisively with 52% public support. His main rival, Gadi Eizenkot, receives 37%, while Bennett garners only 6%. Avigdor Lieberman and Benny Gantz trail with 4% and 1%, respectively. Several parties remain below the electoral threshold, including the Mandel-Troper party (2.1%), Balad (1.9%), Feiglin’s Zehut (1.3%), and Blue and White (0.9%).
