Netanyahu's Likud Leads by Eight Seats Over Gadi Eizenkot's Yisrael Party in New Poll

A new poll conducted by News 14 on August 27, 2026, reveals that Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party remains the largest in Israel with 31 seats. It holds an eight-seat lead over Gadi Eizenkot's Yisrael party, which is projected to win 23 seats. The right-wing bloc collectively commands 63 seats, while the left-wing bloc has 45 seats, and Arab parties hold 12 seats.

Other parties' seat projections include Shas with 10 seats, the Democrats with 9, Otzma Yehudit with 7, Together with 7, and United Torah Judaism with 7. The Joint List (Hadash-Ta'al-Balad) is expected to secure 7 seats, Yisrael Beiteinu 6, Ra'am 5, Religious Zionism 4, and Amcha Yisrael 4. Several parties remain below the electoral threshold, such as Zehut (1.7%), Beit Tzioni/Hamiluimnikim (1.1%), Blue and White (0.4%), Hahadut (0.3%), and Noam (0.3%).

Regarding the prime minister preference, Netanyahu leads significantly with 53% support compared to 33% for Eizenkot. Naftali Bennett and Avigdor Lieberman receive 8% and 6% respectively. In a direct head-to-head matchup, Netanyahu maintains an advantage with 56% favoring him over Eizenkot's 44%. The survey was conducted by NEXT DATA with 981 adult respondents across Israel.
