Gadi Eizenkot’s Party Gains as Netanyahu Widens Lead in Israeli Election Poll
A new poll published by News 14 on July 9, 2026, shows the right-wing bloc maintaining a majority of 63 Knesset seats if elections were held today. The Likud party remains the largest with 33 seats, while Gadi Eizenkot’s party "Yashar" rises to 21 seats, gaining one seat since last week. Shas and the Democratic party each hold 10 seats, with the "Together" party of Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid receiving only 8 seats. Other parties such as Yisrael Beiteinu and United Torah Judaism have 8 seats combined, Otzma Yehudit holds 7, and Religious Zionism maintains 5 seats.
Among the Arab parties, the Joint List and Ra’am each secure 5 seats. Blue and White, Zehut led by Moshe Feiglin, and Israel Foundations led by Yoaz Hendel and Tzvi Hauser fail to cross the electoral threshold. The left-wing bloc totals 47 seats, while Arab parties hold 10 seats.
In the prime minister suitability question, Benjamin Netanyahu leads significantly with 55%, increasing his margin from the previous week. Gadi Eizenkot remains second with 31%, followed by Naftali Bennett at 9%, Avigdor Lieberman at 4%, and Benny Gantz at 1%. The poll was conducted by NEXT DATA with 752 adult participants across Israel, analyzed by Shlomo Filber.
