Likud Maintains Lead as Gadi Eizenkot’s Yashar! Surges and Naftali Bennett’s Party Nears Electoral Threshold

A new poll by NEXT DATA, released on Sunday via Channel 14, shows Likud, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, retaining its position as the largest party with 32 seats. The right-wing bloc holds a majority with 62 seats overall, while the Zionist opposition bloc has 48 seats, and Arab parties collectively hold 10 seats.

The poll highlights a significant rise for Gadi Eizenkot’s Yashar! party, which gains 23 seats, solidifying its status as the second-largest party. In stark contrast, Naftali Bennett’s party, Beyachad, continues to decline, now hovering near the electoral threshold with only seven seats. The Democrats, led by Yair Golan, improve their standing to 12 seats.

Among the ultra-Orthodox parties, Shas, headed by Aryeh Deri, remains steady with 10 seats, while United Torah Judaism drops slightly to seven seats from eight in previous polls. The Religious Zionist Party, led by Bezalel Smotrich, holds five seats, and Otzma Yehudit, under Itamar Ben-Gvir, has eight seats. Avigdor Lieberman’s Yisrael Beiteinu secures six seats. In the Arab sector, Ra’am, led by Mansour Abbas, and the Joint List each receive five seats, totaling ten seats for the Arab parties.

This poll reflects relative stability within the right-wing bloc but underscores the dramatic decline of Bennett’s party and the growing influence of Eizenkot’s Yashar!. The political landscape remains dynamic ahead of the next elections, with shifts potentially impacting coalition formations.
