Mother of Fallen Israeli Soldier Oron Shaul Passes Away After Decade-Long Fight for His Return

Zehava Shaul, the mother of Staff Sergeant Oron Shaul, has passed away. The Jordan Valley Regional Council described her as a noble and cherished woman who fought for over ten years to bring her son Oron back to Israel for burial. Zehava will be laid to rest in the cemetery of Poria Illit, where she lived, alongside her husband Hertzel and near the grave of Oron Shaul. Oron's grave recently marked the first anniversary of his death since his remains were returned to Israel.
