Negotiations have begun with Maccabi Petah Tikva, potentially involving a deal that includes transferring Daniel Golani to Maccabi Petah Tikva along with a financial payment to acquire Salem.

Golani has already been informed that he is not part of Maccabi Haifa's plans for the upcoming season, making him available as a trade asset in the ongoing discussions. The club is moving quickly to finalize these defensive reinforcements to start the season with a stronger backline.
