Israeli Cabinet Approves Lifetime Security for Sara Netanyahu and Five-Year Protection for Sons

Although the professional assessment by Shin Bet's Unit 730, responsible for personal security, concluded that the threat level against Sara Netanyahu and her children was not high enough to justify continuous, close protection, David Zini chose to adopt a different opinion. His decision to extend the security detail beyond the Prime Minister's term reportedly came after significant behind-the-scenes pressure from the Netanyahu family and their close circle.

The security arrangements reflect ongoing concerns about the safety of the Prime Minister's family amid Israel's complex political and security environment. The approval ensures that Sara Netanyahu will remain protected for as long as Benjamin Netanyahu serves as Prime Minister, while their sons will receive protection for a fixed five-year period.
